Great design however two tips broke during use (on separate occasions). My husband was eating when one of them burst in his mouth. As for the other one, I'm not sure what caused it. I liked them but they don't seem to be durable for everyday use.

The Best Chopsticks! I've bought so many chopsticks in different styles and materials from Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong, but can't even compare to this style and manufacture. Comfortable pointed handle, withstands high heat (I use it as a harness). Cool black color and sleek design. Highly recommended.

Good chopsticks must have the right balance of length, heaviness at the top, and narrow end. It is poorly balanced, too heavy on top and too thin on the bottom. In fact, it's so thin I broke a pair. Looks good but doesn't feel well proportioned.

These pointed and textured chopsticks are much easier to use than regular chopsticks you find in the US. I love her! I've broken one so far, but that's only because I was lazy and tried to use it like a butter knife to cut fudge. As long as you use them properly and not like a gorilla, they hold up pretty well.

I was looking for chopsticks with a sharper end. They are great and minimalist. I didn't really need 5 pairs, but it's good to have extra ones. I personally don't wash my chopsticks in the dishwasher, so I don't know how "dishwasher safe" they are. They have a little powder on them, so hand wash them before use. Otherwise 10/10

I'll never have to ask for a pair of chopsticks again. The ribs on top are as functional as they are attractive. Maneuvering the sticks feels easy. Unlike some disposable kits that may require you to apply too much pressure to check. It's smooth and it glides. At least that's how I feel. I wonder how it will stand up to being washed in the dishwasher in the long run. It doesn't appear to be drawn. I will pay special attention to that. I highly recommend it. I will buy more and even as a gift.
