Sounds great. Like most, I have serious doubts about the productivity gains companies are claiming. But what (and most other people) bought it for, . That's incredible. :-)

This air intake is proven to improve vehicle performance. Reading the Mishimoto website and owning Mishimoto products, I trust them. It makes a whistling noise when accelerating. Otherwise it sounds like a normal idle filter. Although I would take this air intake if it was available or configured, I highly recommend it!

Advantages: Increased throttle response, turbo noise, very good construction with high-quality components. The plastic box helps avoid overheating compared to metal used in other applications like the Civic Si. Cons: Installation is usually simple and straightforward, but with some caveats. In Mishimoto's installation video, removing the stock airbox bottom looks easy. It is not. You definitely need to use both agility and brute force. Overview: Great intake. Combining sound and functionality, the airbox draws in fresh air from a standard intake location and also pulls some of the air out of the compartment, allowing more sound to pass through compared to PRL HVI and IAT compared to PRL HVI. They're within 4 degrees of idle on a hot day and identical on the move.
