Mishimoto R2222 Replacement Radiator 1998 2005 Review

Perfect fit for my 2000 GS300. As mentioned in a previous review, a factory radiator cap will not fit. Planning on buying one for the WRX.

Crap is assembled crookedly. It can be clearly seen that one of the sides of the radiator is not perpendicular to the top. Because of this I am unable to install the fan shroud assembly as the screws are misaligned. GS300 car.

Installed on my 2003 GS300 after finding a microcrack in the top of the OEM heatsink. Searched for a replacement and mentioned this product in my Clublexus forum. My mechanic said it was an easy install and a direct replacement. Haven't had any problems with the car for 2 months.

Radiator Cap not included with Mishimoto radiators with plastic reservoirs. The OEM radiator cap is too small for the R2222 radiator for Lexus GS300. Two calls to Mishimoto customer service and we were told the Stant 10267 cover, which is slightly larger, would fit. Only Advanced Auto Parts sold this cover for the 2002-2006 Subaru WRX! Otherwise I would have to wait for delivery. The R2222 cooler was a direct replacement. Great product, great customer service and warranty, and easy install!

Great product perfect for my 02 gs300. Very well packaged but no lid, I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a resistant lid and I installed it myself and it was all done in 30 minutes. ***UPDATE*** ONE YEAR LATER AND HER LEAK. NEED TO REPLACE. ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT SELLER TO MEET LIFETIME WARRANTY AND NO RESPONSE.
