Way too expensive for the quality

Based on our own experience in the Industrial and Scientific field, this micrometer did not live up to our expectations. The quality and accuracy were mediocre at best, especially considering the high price point. The only positive aspect was that it looked sleek and professional. However, we would not recommend this product for anyone in need of reliable and precise measurements.

Pros
  • High accuracy with graduation of 0.003mm
Cons
  • Requires expertise in handling micrometers for accurate readings

Superior Quality - Dimension

This is a high quality product made in Japan by a company well known for their precision tools. I can believe this is accurate unlike much cheaper items.

  • Industry and Science

Great little depth mic

later There isn't much to say about depth mics as there isn't much innovation in the design to make it better than others, but I'll cover the important points. a tool like this should be. As always, this is a quality tool from Mitutoyo and the aesthetics are excellent. Satin finish on the body/thimble of the instrument and a mirrored (presumably lapped) finish on the base. The measuring pin is very tight and rotates perfectly; The movement of the screw is not rough, loose, or overly tight. Heโ€ฆ
