Multipurpose

When I first got it I loved everything about it. Weight, handle shape, position and spout - perfect length and angle. I washed it very carefully, dried it and used it on medium heat. After 6 or 8 applications, "burned" spots are visible on the inside of the floor. The lid of the kettle isn't as tight as it was when it was new, allowing steam to escape; Water takes longer to boil.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

BUY THIS KETTLE AND SAVE MONEY Its VERY GOOD

A well made Overpour Kettle is here. Slow fill for your land limited but not free to affect soil. 4-point welding on the teapot handle. Due to its angular position, the handle does not heat up with gas burners. The lid closes tightly, does not rattle when cooking and does not slip when pouring. Doesn't pour spout when full (about 1 1/2" from top). Thick base and only time will tell if it holds up with prolonged use. 2 months of daily use so far I haven't had any issues. SAVE MONEY and BUY THIS…

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Ideal for coffee lovers

This is a simple but very effective flexible neck kettle. The size is perfect for both a small stovetop burner and a small camping propane stove. I took it on a camping trip and it worked great with an open flame stove. Note, however, that if the flame is placed directly on the gooseneck, water will spurt out during cooking. I use this thing every day and have almost stopped using my Keurig since. Combine this with an over-the-cup cone filter and freshly ground coffee, and your morning starts…

Useful for making coffee in an Aeropress

I need a gooseneck kettle because I brew coffee in an Aeropress every day and a regular kettle sometimes makes a mess. I bought this because it's one of the cheapest I've found on Amazon. Other gooseneck teapots are now $30-$50. To be honest what I need this kettle for, it's definitely worth the money. However, it should be noted that it doesn't "whistle" when you look for it. There is also no temperature sensor. We have been using it every day for almost a month, everything is fine. No rust…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Good kettle! Best in Kitchen & Dining

Bought this to replace one that I have dry cooked and think ruined. I like this much more! The 3-layer base allows for faster heating than my old one! Also the lid has a much better design and will not fall off if the kettle is completely tipped over. I always leave some water at the bottom and water my plants the next day before pouring coffee again. The old one rattled while cooking, this one is better and quieter. I believe things happen for a reason. Killed my old kettle to have this better

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Water flows through the gooseneck!

that needed to replace my old gooseneck kettle recently and I chose Mixpresso as the price seemed very good. I was very happy to use it the first day I got it and found that I can't see when the water is boiling because the lid with tiny holes for steam burns my fingers when trying to check whether my water is ready :(so I decided to use a lid from my old kettle which was visible through the glass (works much better by the way) than the next day I put the water on to make fresh morning coffee…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something
