Description of Mizuno Rider WAVEKNIT Running Shoe in Campanula Vapor

Imported. Rubber sole. Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch. Inspired by our Iconic wave technology, Mizuno introduces the 2nd WAVEKNIT. With wave construction as it's base, WAVEKNIT provides a natural and dynamic fit through stretch and hold abilities. Waveknit upper design stretches and moves with your foot like no other knit running shoe out there while remaining breathable and cool. Mizuno WAVE: Wave sets the standard for running shoe technologies. Given that it less reliant on midsole foam due to wave technology your last mile in the rider should feel as great as the first. U4ic Midsole provides optimal shock attenuation, durability and a superior ride. This neutral favorite uses a parallel CLOUDWAVE for cushioning and shock attenuation.

Mizuno Lover is the best in my rating

I am a longtime and loyal customer of Mizuno shoes (actually all products). These shoes are perfect for wide feet. This is one of the few shoes I wear; for training, cycling and leisure. I highly recommend ALL Mizuno products

Pros
  • 4th pair of riders on the waves. I tried Brooks and Asics shoes. Keep coming back to it.
Cons
  • Can be rough or tough for some runners

Sooo reliable - my new test report

I've been a Mizuno fan for many years. I find their shoes to be very stable, durable yet able to disperse shock if not better than any other company on the market.

Pros
  • I've been running with the Mizuno Wave Rider since 2005 and I won't buy any other running shoes anymore!
Cons
  • Limited color options

Good walking shoes - my new review

I walk about 3 miles a day. They have the cushioning and stability I was looking for so I could enjoy trail riding. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Cool and comfortable - great shoes!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with a history of ankle injuries.

What do shoe number classifications really mean?

If only Revane or Mizuno could explain what the numbers mean? What is episode 3 or episode 16 or episode 23? They differ from each other - how do they differ?

Pros
  • Great cushioning and heel support but a little on the narrow side. Next time I'll try 1/2 size bigger.
Cons
  • Everything was fine except for the light green mint color.

Shoe size .....: my rating

Mizuno sizes are different from sneakers from other brands. So be careful when buying if you don't know your Mizuno shoe size.

Pros
  • Great shoes for running! Light and well balanced shoe. This is my third pair and I enjoy running in all of them.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for hikers or casual wear

If there are 9.5 men / 12 women, then 12 men.

Nothing wrong with shoes. The description said 9.5 men / 12 women which struck me as odd but the price was good so I ordered it. It was a men's size 12 so it didn't fit.

Pros
  • Without a doubt the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever owned.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with pronation problems.

Be careful with size 12 for women and 9.5 for men!

I ordered size 12 women / 9.5 men. These are men's size 12. I'm sure it's a good shoe, it's just the sizing isn't right. May not be breathable enough for hot weather!

Pros
  • I mainly use Mizunos for my training. These are fantastic shoes. I like the cushioning and stability. I bought two pairs!
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for hot weather

Great shoe at half price compared to my other sneakers.

Great shoes, very light and comfortable. When I first used them, I ran 5km and ran on the treadmill for an hour. That's my review!

Pros
  • This pair of Mizuno shoes was exactly what I expected! I've already tested my first 15 miles, they're amazing!
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for heavy runners.

Better quality control expected

I've always been a fan of Mizuno athletic shoes. I bought this pair of beautiful shoes in gray and black. But they used the wrong thread (orange) in a prominent place on the boot. See attached photo. Given the expected quality, I can only give one star. It is better for potential buyers to go to a physical store to make sure they are okay before buying. (although this may be difficult for US citizens)

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • old

Another generation of consistently great running shoes

I've been wearing the Mizuno Wave Rider for about a decade now. The 23rd edition wave knit is a continuation of a great product. I am very happy with it. These are great shoes at a good price.

Pros
  • Super
Cons
  • Expensive
