Great volleyball shorts

My daughter loves these volleyball shorts. They are very comfortable and stay in place (do not ride up). She normally wears a medium size (jeans size 8 ), but we bought the big ones and they fit well.

Pros
  • 3 1/2" inseam
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Buy a size up for baselayer and compressions

My daughter wears a size 1 in juniors so ordered xxs. They were too tight in the groin area. The waist fits great and is very well made. If you are tall and skinny, these shorts are better than Nike volleyball shorts.

Pros
  • 92% polyester, 8% spandex
Cons
  • Some issues

Mizuno Victory is good if you buy them

Mizuno Victory are good quality shorts if you get what you ordered because I fell for the bait and switched. If you order Victory shorts, they may try to give you a smaller model. Then you will have problems returning them and everything, but if they ship what you bought, I'm fine.

Pros
  • Low Rise Womens Exclusive
Cons
  • Repair

Did not fit very well

My daughter has been playing volleyball for a few years now and these tights are her favorite tights. I bought these as they reminded me of the similar Adidas style we both prefer, but this version lacked quality and fit. (They often slip and roll so you keep pulling them down) Luckily I bought her 3 different brands for the season, I haven't seen them wear all season and the season is coming to an end.

Pros
  • Made in USA or Imported
Cons
  • Fits

Petite Athletic Volleyball Player

I play volleyball, my weight is 115 pounds 5 feet 1 inch and athletic hips. I usually wear women's little leggings and spandex bike shorts. Wednesday fitted me perfectly into the Vortex volleyball shorts. I have tried on other styles of Mizuno shorts before and the size smaller is on the contrary very small. In my experience, Mizuno pants run small. (My Mizuno knee pads are also medium in size and were initially narrow compared to other brands I wear a small adult size.) If you're in betweenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Athlete specific build: allows for easy movement
Cons
  • Was injured

Picky - Approved for material-sensitive children!

Bought these for my 12 year old daughter to wear to volleyball practice. She is almost 5'5 and 115 pounds. She is VERY sensitive to materials and hates anything narrow. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should go for the small or medium, but the medium fits perfectly! She has had similar shorts from Nike, UA, BCG and other various brands and has always had issues with the label or an uncomfortable/too tight area. I was shocked when she put them on and immediately said they are really

Pros
  • Flexible fit to minimize slippage during play
Cons
  • Doubtful
