Suitable for this purpose

Thinner than the slippers I bought in HD. I advise you to buy a He head as the Phillips head will chew when using a high torque drill.

Solid anchors. Including carbide tip.

Absolutely great anchors for the price, they also come with the matching carbide insert for the screws. They may not have the same holding power as Tapcons because the threads aren't as pronounced, but they're fine for my use. I can't move them with a pry bar so that's enough for me. They also come with a corrosion resistant coating that works well for anchoring treated wood. All in all a great anchor bolt that I am very happy with.kd
