Once I get used to it, I like it. It does not need to be connected.

Takes some getting used to, the trigger is used to inflate and depressurize the tire depending on the level of pressure. Once I get used to it, I like it. It does not need to be connected to an air hose to check tire pressure or depressurize.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

The best tire shop.

The best tire gauge ever. I have read all the reviews and I highly recommend this item. So I bought a pressure gauge. I am very happy with this purchase. I tem works as advertised. I like accurate digital reading. I like that the device turns off automatically to save battery power. I love that it calibrates itself every time you turn it on. This is definitely great.

The tool works fine but the one I got didn't work at all

The tool works fine but the one I got didn't work at all so I found out it was a water line. (#2032) and thought maybe it had a bad contact so I took it off and cleaned both sides then replaced, it works fine now. The on-time should be very long, but it is what it is. Made from good thick material. I love how you can adjust the air in the tire with the push button (fully inflated, and if you inflate too much air, deflate halfway). So far everything is working fine. I also had to figure out how…

defect upon arrival. A leaking trigger renders the device unusable.

The block is large, well assembled, with thick hoses. It accepts a standard 1/4" MNPT host. I screw in my own quick connector (with teflon tape) and there is no leak. However, the trigger is broken on arrival. As soon as I hooked it up to the tire valve, this started Device leaking air (from the tire). There is no pressure on the trigger mechanism. Not enough air is coming from the back of the device behind the pressure gauge. This makes the gauge reading much lower than the actual pressure…

Exactly what I was looking for.

I have used an inexpensive analog gas generator for many years. The rubber coating on my current inflator had recently ruptured, causing it to come loose and I was beginning to question its reliability. Every now and then the needle got stuck and hence the desire for a digital product that wouldn't break the bank. This is an older model from a competing brand (red and blue) that can be found here at Revain. I love being able to inflate, check and deflate everything without having to change…

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Works well but could be better

Bought this product to replace a similar but larger Astro Pneumatic digital pressure gauge. First of all, my main problem with these two tools is that the automatic shutdown is too fast. I am a professional auto mechanic and check/correct tire pressure on every car I service. You just *can't* get around the car and use the sensor without turning it off a few times during a measurement. What a problem. It should be 2 or 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Second note: The instructions that come…

  • There are nuances

UPDATE. On January 15, the gas generator's pressure gauge broke off, rendering it unusable. I had to go to North Carolina for a long time, so I only got back there now, in April. The design flaw is that the sensor's dial is mounted on a 2-inch plastic rod that goes into the grip. Even though it looks like it's a solid body, it's not. There is a 1/16 inch gap between this fragile shaft and the main body of the grip. I managed to lean on it or something and the dial fell out! So I couldn't return

Pros
  • Great price

  • Big and bulky
