This oil filter will not work on a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro 3.0. The oil inlet on the engine is too short, they redesigned the filter and now they don't work.

I've been using these filters for about a year now. I changed the oil and filter after 6 months, I fill it up completely with synthetics. However, the transition to a full year (12 months) is definitely patchy.

I use this filter to ask for Mobil1 high mileage synthetic oil on almost every oil change. After dozens of oil changes I've never had a problem with the helper and the price is generally good. Recommended if you use synthetic oil.

We have been using these filters on our cars for a long time, one of which has a high mileage. I've used an oil flush on the last 3 changes which sure is bad for the filter to keep all that sludge and particles out. Each time these filters removed a lot of dirt (they were heavier than usual). After the third flush my oil was very clean and the filter kept it that way!

The filter arrived in a large envelope along with other items. The filter box was torn open and the filter had two dents. I assume the filter fell off in the box before shipping. Looks like I can still use it but I will be checking it regularly for leaks and hopefully it will still be able to handle the oil pressure with no issues.
