Great alternative to soldering.

Great solution if you don't have a good soldering iron. You need to make sure you cut the wires cleanly and don't have any stray ground wires. You will need a good small Phillips screwdriver.

Doesn't fit turntable

Didn't work for me. The RCA ends on my vintage turntable needed replacing. I figured I could get away without soldering new wires or opening up my TT and soldering in a new RCA wire. After several attempts to try these endings I gave up. They either didn't work at all or made a loud hum. I was able to get her to work for a minute but soon passed out. I have ordered RCA cables with different types of solder and they work. YMMV depending on the application, but I don't recommend them for audio…

Great RCA connector for speaker wire but not recessed RCA connectors

This was the perfect solution for me; Something like that. I've had a surround sound system in my home for the last 8 years and have run 100 feet of wire to each of the surround back speakers in my living room. I then bought a new Vizio SB3651-e6c soundbar to replace my setup. Everything worked fine except for the rear speakers.
