No balancing function

Only protection, no balancing functions. Most likely the first cell is 4.2V, the rest remain 4.0-3.86 or something like that. Prefer balanced for the safety of your batteries

Don't waste your money

Only 1 worked for me I've used different ones before so I know what I'm doing, after assembling the battery pack activate the board and it shows 12.6v and then when you plug something into the pack, there is no power at all

Needs to be charged before the module can be activated

I tried 4 boards before realizing that these modules only start working after you connect charging current to them. Before that I thought they were DOA since they output 0V. As soon as you connect the charger to the contacts (even for a second) they come to life and work perfectly.

It just doesn't work - don't buy it.

Dear friends! I am an engineer with reasonable expertise to review this product. I let the discharge continue and terminated it with a 0.8 volt lithium cell before stopping it manually. My tests have been continued on 2 other PCBs with the same result, I haven't tested them all yet but I suspect they will give the same result. I have now bought another brand of BMS which works great. Do not buy this product as it does not work. Greetings Thomas

Dangerous not to buy!

Why would anyone put these things in BMS, I don't understand! Please do yourself a favor and don't buy them, and if you do, throw them in the trash! After reading the reviews I realized I wasn't the only one who felt these things didn't work. I assembled a fairly simple 3S 4P battery pack and connected the so-called BMS board according to the instructions.
