This is a 3 way outlet only, it does not shut off the water (top valve). If you're only servicing two shower heads, it's best to redirect the spare connector back into the system (per the instructions) to ensure even flow.

seems to be of good quality. The cartridge is made entirely of plastic, so be sure to remove it before you break a sweat. I give it 3 stars because the selector doesn't actually click on the desired item.

Be Careful. I've been dripping slowly since day one. You should run and test it for a few days before sealing the wall if you can. I have to manipulate him to slow him down. Sometimes I get lucky and it stops. I tried adjusting the valves but without much pleasure.

We need this! Our plumber broke the gasket and gear pins on the inside when he pressed it against the wall. We were at a dead end last night and didn't know how to get another one! This was the recommended drain valve for Moen Commercial's M-DURA PosiTemp & Handheld Shower Head. Works well, but the valve has three positions, not the two required. In two positions, the water is directed to the shower head and in the third to the hand shower. I don't know why Moen doesn't make an on/off valve for their showers that are installed as freestanding showers. These three-position valves are designed for installation in combination with a shower and bath.
