I think it's hospital grade

I bought three of these 12" Moen handrails and one 18" handrail. Of the four 2" screws in each template, 2" makes a big difference in terms of security. The shower was top priority. Moen is quality. A few days ago I bought and returned two pairs of 1" handrails. Absolute junk with 1" screws. Avoid them.

Now we are safe! Best Bath & Shower Products

I've wanted one of these in our shower for so long. It only takes one episode of weakness or slipping of the leg to become a serious emergency. This handrail gives a feeling of stability and security, especially when you are also using the shower seat. Can't praise the installation but I know it took less than 30 minutes with the screws. I love that it came in a variety of sizes and colors/styles. We chose white and it goes really well with our white bath and shower curtain. I also bought a 9…

Sturdy grip but the brass color is too golden

First you need to find two pins for safe and secure installation. If you can't find it, hire a professional. Once I found the studs, I taped tape to the wall to mark the holes. The block is 18" but the studs were 12" apart so I set them at an angle. If desired, it can be mounted vertically on a stand. I have tile, so I patiently but firmly drilled holes large enough for the screw to go through because I didn't want the tile to tear when tightened. I drilled six holes, stopping after each one to

Sturdy, beautifully finished product. Excellent finish.

I used grab bars in the bath/shower. The finish and quality of the product is excellent and goes well with the existing Moen polished brass bathroom fixtures. The object was attached to a ceramic tile wall backed with plaster of paris and a concrete slab. I found the included 2" screws to be a bit short for attaching to the wall's wood studs, so I opted for #10 3" screws. I highly recommend using a 3/16 inch carbide tipped bit for installing ceramic tile. Other than the recommended drill bit…

Reliable anchors?

Moen is a great product. I looked at different options, sizes and manufacturers but when I saw the Secure Mount anchors I decided this is the Meon for me. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the handrails are not included with the Secure Mount anchors and must be purchased separately. Like the previous reviewer, this should be made clear in Revenge. Revain should not show this as a video unless it comes with this product. I have made a decision. That was the bar for me. What was my surprise

Misleading description

The description shows the SecureMount design followed by an image of the SecureMount anchor and a video showing the installation using the SecureMount design and the SecureMount anchor. As much as it sounds, the SecureMount design only refers to a plate on a stem with bolt holes. SecureMount anchors are NOT included. You will receive screws. If you thought they were included and wish to report missing parts from Revain, you will be directed to Moen. Too bad, but the SecureMount anchors are…

Top quality but wrong choice of screws provided

Good quality handrail and nicely finished grip area. Although the screws provided are long enough to penetrate 1/2" thick drywall and studs or "double" blockages in the wall, they have a Phillips head. It is impossible to drive a screw into wood studs because the Phillips head is very difficult to use just "comes out" of the screw head. I tried pre-drilling a hole (not too big a diameter) to help and smeared some soap on the threads of the screw. But still the "cam" passed before I could fully…

Good Heavy Sturdy Pole

This pole and its 24" counterpart were added to a bath/shower in a guest bathroom when we needed to use this mount for several weeks. Although I didn't install it myself, the contractor (who does other chores) used my striking tool for it. He used his piece of tile, but they are readily available at "big box" stores. Well I could do it myself, but I'm too lazy. Pretty simple build. Find the stud (the hardest part), drill holes in the faux marble and drywall, and drive in the screws (nice, long,

Simple vertical mounting on a single stud. Gives stability to the bandage

The bandage was purchased to be placed next to the shower in the bathroom. This is a safe and comfortable grip area to use when dressing and undressing. It offers stability and security. It was easy to mount on a single vertical wall stud. The mounting flange for this device made this possible and easy. Using different hole patterns, I was able to drill three 2" screws into a rack at both the top and bottom of the bracket. The screws to the outside of the lug are angled slightly so they can…
