I'm so glad I learned how people tie dogs in cars before buying a harness system four times the price. The features that stand out to me the most are: 1) Attaches to either the webbing or seat belt buckle. 2) Allows my dog to sit or lie down AND lets him stick his nose out the window. 3) Easy transfer from one car to another. 4) Allows easy transfer from leash to car. 5) When attached to the "car seat harness" my dog's legs don't get tangled in the leash. I wish I had found her a long time ago. I bought my dog a car seat and he hated it. very hot . tied a leash (for safety) but taking it off and putting it on was painful. I found this to work so well. It has a seat belt buckle on one end and clips on his seat belts on the other. I love it because now I can put a soft flat bed in the back seat and a blanket and tie him to it and he's safe. no more hot boxes to try to get out of. We recommend! They are also very strong!

I have a 110lb box nose lab and it works great for it. He's mad because he always thinks we're going to the dog park. He takes the game very seriously. That keeps him in the back seat. I am not satisfied with the durability of this product. I used it as a leash extender to keep my young labrador from chewing on the leash. It could be chewed, but it wasn't very strong. During the walk, one of the loops on the leash broke. I know it's not designed to extend the leash, but it's advertised as a safety harness.
