Mongoose MG78457 6 Fat Tire Tube Review

Used to replace the original hose on my M150 20" Foldable Addmotor which mounts very nicely to the valve. He was the perfect size one as a spare.

Santa brought 4 'Fat Bikes' last year and the youngest boy was able to find a nail in the whole area. Rear flat tire I found a tube here and sent it quickly. 10 minutes installation. and he went in search of another nail. Wanted to give a bad review because they lasted a month. But you must try to be honest. My tires went flat and I had to replace the ribs with reinforced ones, which also took a month. Turns out there are "Jurassic" spikes where I live. They reach up to 3/16th the length. You can't expect that from any cell phone. I solved it with green slime. So the tubes do what they're supposed to do, but they're not magical.

Why do fat bikes with factory tubes leak slowly? First, 99% of all slow leaks are found where the tube faces the outside (shoulder) of the tire. NOT where the tube rubs against the inside of the tire/wheel. Why? After fabrication and installation, the tube will begin to "stick" to the tire in some places while awaiting delivery. If you don't deflate and inflate both tubes before cycling, these "sticky" spots will puncture. Trust me, I've been at this for a while. It is so easy. Next time you…
