My husband gave me this for Christmas. it was originally supposed to arrive a week after Christmas but was delivered the next day instead. it was so easy to put together and i made my first shirt day. The only bad thing was that there were no instructions on how to create a timer, but luckily people on some critical FB pages had something similar and were able to tell me what to do. Overall this is a great machine and you can do a lot more than basic presses for the same money.

I don't know if the Cricut version is any better, but this pillow seems to move and doesn't necessarily keep you warm. The first time I used it I put it on my cut out rug. The heat was flapping on the carpet (it straightened up as it cooled) and that was disappointing. It also gets pretty hot to the touch. The Cricut heat press gets VERY HOT. I ended up sewing a thin piece of cork sheet between two pieces of felt to put under the rug so it wouldn't damage the furniture or my cutting mat. It's…

I bought this heating pad as a surface for small jobs, but it is too soft for ironing smaller jobs (e.g. using a mini heating iron). I'm new to htv and cutting machines and figured it must just be hard to press with enough force. I then got another heating pad that came with the new iron and it's a lot stronger which is more than what you need for the firm press you need for htv.
