Adapter 1/8 stereo to 1/8 mono jack

Excellent. Does exactly what I needed. I needed to connect a regular microphone (stereo) to my wireless camera instead of a lavalier (mono). Boom. It works out. The radio transmitter can only receive mono and that helped. Let me hook up a stereo microphone to a wireless transmitter. Bravo Revain for providing the lighting. I ordered at 4pm and paid extra for overnight delivery. To my surprise, it arrived at 9pm the same day. that's wow Many Thanks

Too big to fit well but it works.

It works great to be honest but only if you can plug it into a flush socket so the bulky plastic case doesn't prevent it from being fully plugged in. The reviews saying it fails are probably the ones where it wasn't fully plugged in because it wasn't possible. I use it to get mono output from ham radio to stereo headphones. To make it work for my setup I connected it to a 3.5mm splitter I have that works fine for the radio.

  • Bad set

PERFECT WORK - Much better than all the gold models

Before I bought two of these, I bought a set of solid gold colored metal stereo to mono adapters for 3.5mm plugs. THESE GOLD PIECES ARE TOO SHORT which means the pins on the female end will not align properly when you insert the plug - you will need to push the plug out 0.5-1mm for them to work. Aggravating. In contrast, they work great, are THE RIGHT LENGTH (1mm longer) and work great. In fact, they look much better than the picture in terms of finish and coverage. Important for use with all…

Had to be modified to fit one of my radios

These connectors fit one of my mobile ham radio transceivers, but as another reviewer mentioned, they repeatedly popped out of another radio. I found that the poor fit was caused by corners on the black plastic housing at the front of the fork preventing the fork from being fully inserted. I used sandpaper to sand down those corners and now the end cap fits both radios. The attached photo shows one connector after grinding and the other before grinding. I would have preferred the plug body to…
