Does exactly what I need

I bought these for my beyerdynamic dt 990 pro and they do a great job of boosting the sound. It's very heavy and well built. The blue light has no other color option and is always very bright when your headphones are on. I bought this one because it looked more stylish than many other USB amps I've seen. I am happy with my purchase

High quality materials and sound.

This part gives clarity and definition to the full frequency range of my Kef Q100 and Tin T2 headphones. I've noticed more separation and better bottom end on my Kef Q100. This thing is way ahead of the PC's built-in DAC. This is my first experience with a DAC and I think it's a great starting point for everyone and even the end goal for some. PROS: Sound quality, volume controls, headphone jack, pre-outs, line-outs, RCA input, smooth volume control, brushed aluminum body, easy connection andโ€ฆ

The main feature is versatility

The sound quality is quite acceptable. As a 24/96 DAC it is quite suitable for the average user. The headphone output is also pretty good for most headphones, especially dynamic low-impedance cans. The unique selling point of this device in the budget hi-fi sector are the connections on the back. It has both preamp outputs (to an amplifier) and line level inputs and outputs (to connect to a cassette deck). Record the same music on an old hi-fi cassette deck for beautiful, clean recordings thatโ€ฆ

Not all that good. Let's go back to the drawing board.

Not a bad amp overall. However, the knob is poorly made and feels like you could cut your fingers each time you turn it to change the volume. Also, the built-in DAC is just terrible. "Better than a computer's DAC" should not be the motto of an audiophile start-up company. The sound is both muddy and muddy, with poor instrument separation and visualization. When I listen to this, my AKG K712 headphones sound slightly better than entry-level headphones. On the other hand, when I connect them toโ€ฆ

The ideal DAC for those looking to get into High Definition Digital Audio

I'm a music lover, hate MP3 and prefer vinyl. I recently started exploring the world of high-resolution digital audio and was recommended to me by another audio enthusiast. I can only say WOW! Sounds great in headphones and sounds great over a stereo system. I mostly listen to 24-bit/96kHz FLAC files and haven't been this excited about digital audio in a long time. Vinyl is still king, and when done right, it sounds better than its digital counterpart, but it's a good alternative. And no, youโ€ฆ

Great hardware

I got it today so didn't have enough time with it. After the last few hours of use, I am very satisfied with the performance of the device. I use this on my home PC with Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones. The amp/DAC makes the headphones much louder and more powerful than what I got with the stock computer's internal audio hardware. I received the ATH-M50x for Christmas and was a bit concerned that they sound better when connected to my iPhone than when connected to a computer. This deviceโ€ฆ

Monoprice Desktop Headphone Amplifier

I recently purchased this DAC/Amp and it seems to be working fine. The sound quality is noticeably better than what I have on board and it can be a lot louder. I use this with my Superlux HD681 headphones and even with the volume knob turned all the way down there is absolutely no hiss. I hope to upgrade my headphones soon to see how well this amp works with other headphones. The build quality seems solid and I love that it has a switch to toggle between the onboard DAC and the RCA aux inputโ€ฆ

breathtaking. Amazing size and details!

I have no experience with headphone amps. So when I bought this I was shooting trap shooting in the dark. I needed a review that would say something more than "neat, sounds great" so I'll write something that puts the amp in the context of the music being amplified. I recently bought a pair of AKG 701 Reference headphones. I'm a musician and do a lot of home recording and mixing. I've also been a fan of classical and pop music since the early 1970s. And I still check out new releases on Spotify
