THIS IS SUITABLE FOR CAT6 23AWG WIRE!

So many reviews that these strain relief sleeves basically fit exactly (and sometimes not without a heat gun) a Cat6 network cable. I'm here to tell you it's a good fit. Besides that. It's the rubber boot for your network cables when you're feeling on trend and want to do things right.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Works well, true to size!

I often lay network cables outside, so I often break off RJ 45/48 terminals and replace plugs. These boots cover the latch plate and prevent breakage when removing and retrieving the cable. A very efficient and cheap solution. The plastic is a little stiff, which I need. If the connector is recessed even slightly, it will be much more difficult to push the latch down through the trunk to disengage the connector. Not critical, but something to consider when choosing. It also looks more…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Without machine

Good/simple connector covers.

Used these on a couple of jumper cables I made. The material seems a bit thinner/flexible than the ones I bought at my local hardware store, but they seem to work just as well for a lot less.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Ideal for audio and video accessories

Some people mention that they don't go well with the Monoprice cable. I would like to let you know that I am using a Southwire Cat6 riser cable (similar to what you can buy at Lowes/Home Depot 500/1000ft) and it fits perfectly. Just tight enough that I won't get lost, but not too tight that I can't pull it properly. It really fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Dark matte blue and very tight for CAT6 - not compatible with CAT6A

It might be difficult to get them for CAT6 and given the thickness of this cable it doesn't fit CAT6A at all. The color blue does not match from bag to bag, I received a darker bag, other buyers wrap differently.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Will not fit 23 AWG Cat6a

Well I did it with a heat gun but I still wouldn't recommend it for anything over 24 Cat 5e. They're good and cheap but only because the seller (Monoprice) replied to a question about 23 AWG and said it would fit, which it doesn't - I can only give 3 stars as these are fake ones advertising.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Out of fashion
