Each stand features a strong tempered glass base with floor spikes for added stability. An MDF wood veneer for a touch of elegant design, and a strap to secure the speaker to the stand for extra security in case it gets bumped. Each stand supports up to 22 lbs. (10 kg) weight and are 18in tall. The lower glass plate is 0. 33in (8mm) thick and measures 7. 9in x 7. 9in (200 x 200 mm). Each order includes two (2) speaker stands.

Well made, attractive

They are well designed and made. Easy to put together but helps if you have a helper to steady the pieces during assembly. There seemed to be a fairly stable attachment of the speakers to the carpet.

Goes with my Stereo Glass Shelves

I have several glass shelves, two of them about 30" high and 20" wide to place in front of the TV for a home theater turntable and amp. along with other devices. I wanted some low speaker shelves to bring the surround sound to ear level, which would suit the sound. It goes without saying that Monoprice speaker stands are made by the same company. As with the shelves, the metal pieces fit together easily and don't always connect smoothly. I found that to align the shelves you have to bend the…
