I had an SE Reflective filter and on comparing I find it works just as well, is a lot cheaper and can sit on my desk for my everyday shots. My table has become a fortress. This voice guard works very well. It's a solid piece of metal, so if you're installing it you'll definitely need support on the stand. As a standalone desktop stand/display, it's almost perfect. In terms of performance, I tested it in a fairly well-humidified room and recorded white noise. During playback I heard almost no background noise.
