They will work for what I need but I thought the end where the wire goes in was rounded (which is what the description said ). I received them, they are where the square holes are. I actually canceled the package with more I. It's just to get a rounded hole. If it didn't work I would send them back.

These are well made connectors well suited for solid RJs11 wire or similar gauge solid electrical connections. I have used in various low cost stereo and wired applications where a fast connection is desired, shielding is not important, solid wires and no soldering. This connector works with both round and flat cables, although I add heat shrink tubing to the connector for extra strength.

They are good quality and always make a perfect connection. I use Monoprice RJ11 for custom length patch cords for both single and dual line phones. They are excellent for making short three to four inch long wall phone cords. Mold quality is excellent, with no occasional plastic burrs. The clips are elastic and do not tire even after repeated use. The most important thing is to use quality wire and a good crimping tool.
