This is CCA wire, NOT bare copper like .

This is CCA wire, NOT bare copper as the description states. The more detailed description contradicts the short description, so I believe that this is not deliberately false advertising. However, be careful what you buy. Even for CCA wire instead of solid copper it's cheap so can't really complain.

NOT pure copper as described! It's aluminum with a very thin copper coating.

The description of the listing stated several times that this wire is pure copper and not the copper clad aluminum found in cheaper, lower quality cables. I've scraped off some of the exposed wires and the aluminum is easy to see. The copper plating was such that you could almost see through it. Very disappointed with Monoprice and Revain for misleading description.

Cable as advertised but packaging photos are misleading

I am a big fan of Monoprice products and the cable is great for the price , especially when compared to the competition, which can cost a little more for the same caliber and quality. However, I'm deducting a star because the photos show that the cable is wound nicely on the spool and is clearly labeled. My item arrived completely wrong. There was no coil in my wire. It was neatly rolled up in what might be called consumer grade plastic wrap. It was as thin as the stuff you wrap groceries in…
