🚗 Enhance Vehicle Stability with Monroe 32235 Monro-Matic Plus Shock Absorber Review

These shocks do not work well with the Moog springs I have fitted. I had to compress the springs to fully extend the shock.

96 Ranger 2WD shocks work well but have less travel than OEM Motorcraft. Rather spend a little more for a better shock absorber. But if you're on a tight budget and only ride on the road, they'll do very well.

The price couldn't be beat, the delivery time was much faster than expected and that's A+. Installation was easy, 40 minutes to remove the old ones and install the new ones!

Installed on an old, low mileage sporty Ford Explorer. The handling hasn't improved much, the car is still very snappy on the road, but that's how the early GEN discoverers were, I guess.

was great at first. a year later they were completely shot. The manufacturer refuses the guarantee because they were bought from Amazon. Amazon excludes warranties and only offers returns*, meaning they require you to remove it, send it back and charge a 'restocking fee' for an item that leaks and no longer works, nor can it be resold as used. Maybe buy from the manufacturer if you want to take a risk and actually have a guarantee on it. from amazon? never again.

I was wrong. I bought shock absorbers and then waited 3 years to fit them (the truck has been used very little and has only done 5,000 miles in that time). Now, a few hundred miles later, I realize that the shocks I removed (with 50,000 miles on them) were in better shape than the ones I replaced.
