Fits my Cherokee

Attached to the front of my '99 Cherokee is a pair with standard HD springs and a heavy duty crossbar. They run great and I haven't had any problems with them. With the corresponding rear shock absorbers 37027 there were no problems. Visit page 37027 for my review. I don't think I would use them on a used XJ with an off-road body. I think they are good for moderate 4x4 and sidewalk use.

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • Not sure

TRUE STORY Very precise shock. I ride very windy mountain roads

They are a little softer than heavy duty. I have a Spectrum in front of my 1995 XJ with a Severe in the back. Yesterday a flatbed truck came off a side street in front of me, I dodged at 35 km/h at full throttle into another lane and missed it. I felt the machine shake and then shake again and they worked amazing! I was 1 second away from getting hit so the distraction was as strong as it could be and I think they saved my life, I just put them on every 2 days before!

Pros
  • Full displacement valve: tuned specifically for each application, this valve automatically adjusts to extreme road conditions to ensure a smooth and smooth ride
Cons
  • Some bugs

Big shocks! - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

as uneven tire wear. The trouble with bad shocks is that the ride actually IMPROVES as your shocks wear out. You don't know they're bad until there's an awkward situation where you need them badly (like an accident/maneuver), but they're not there. Replace them every 50,000 miles, folks! These shock absorbers are great for the price. They bring your car back to factory specification, nothing more, nothing less. I've found that my Jeep handles much better now, especially when cornering sharplyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pistons with Fluon Tape: Fluon tape provides a positive seal between the piston and pressure tube for better control and longer life
Cons
  • Difficult to see
