Just OK. expected more.

Okay I think. There is only a slight improvement over very old OEM shock absorbers. Marginal, but sufficient. I expected much better.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Appearance

Great price, best in shock absorbers

Got a great deal on these. It's definitely a big improvement over buying my (used) 2011 Chevy Malibu. 100 miles driven and drivability is 100% better, braking shows a slight improvement (needs new brakes).

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Modern

Monroe's quality lives up to its bad reputation.

Suspension completely overhauled. One of the two rear pillars was making strange noises. Had time to see if things improve but no, unfortunately the month-long return window has expired. If you plan to install them yourself, take enough time to solve the problems. I expected better service from my Prime membership.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Should be gone OEM good for parts

I was replacing the front struts on my 2007 Saturn Aura XE and decided to replace the rear shocks at the same time as the front ones. These shocks are amazingly squishy compared to the OEMs I took out. What a difference and not for the better. It feels like the rear end will bounce off the ground on bumps. It's a bit unsteady when cornering in the mountains. Should stick with an OEM replacement. I wish they felt safer.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

UNDER THE STRIKE OF QUALITY. AFTER 6 MONTHS AN OIL LEAKS.

Does not absorb shock as expected. They're just as weak as the ones I replaced. And the originals were completely shot. They had over 100,000 miles on the odometer. I was really expecting a harder ride, not the very soft ride that feels like the old 100,000 mile rides. This is the first time I've replaced shock absorbers and haven't felt a difference. It continues through January 27, 2021. I brought the car into the shop and while it was in the air we inspected the car for wear or defects. At…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So-so
