OEM Smooth on Shocks

So Smooth works great. It really does what a shock absorber is supposed to do and absorbs all the shock to keep you riding smoothly.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Volume

Provides no cushioning.

Defective item. Zero resistance installed and provided to absorb vehicle load (nothing in trunk except ring tire. All resistance/shock absorption is provided by rear springs only.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Will be added later

Inexpensive and you get what you pay for

They were easy to replace and fit well but after installing and checking to make sure everything was tight they were a bit noisy on the road. I am not happy with this and will replace them with better shock absorbers in the future.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Not worth saving

Doesn't resist much. It's pretty easy to hand roll the shock. Even my suitcase was empty and seemed more resilient than the old ones. I wouldn't use them anyway if they were free. Monroe should be ashamed to even sell them. So just save your time and money and don't buy.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • So far so good

Wrong shock absorbers for challenger 2016 rt

I put them on my challenger 2016 rt. The fit was accurate but definitely not the right shocks because they make the car have big floating jumps like old school Caprice cars. The suspension isn't stiff as it should be on a sports car. The car also goes haywire when you hit 75 because it starts floating and moving all over the road. I could easily hit 140mph with my factory shocks, so now I'm stuck in a sports car with crappy shocks. I can't wait to see what they do with tires.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • expensive

Disappointed in Revan.

I ordered these parts thinking that everything will be fine and everything will work as it should. Not the case when I installed them, rode a bit and when I hit speed bumps at slow speed it sounds like the metal is getting scratched as the shocks compress. I threw away my original part thinking everything would be fine. Big mistake. For some reason they can't give me a replacement. In order to get a refund I also have to send the parts back which is not a problem. But I can't because when I…
