I will not buy again - shock absorbers

Seems like a thousand mile ride has solidified, now they really seem to have gone downhill. They don't make the jingling noise of compression and rebound like the rear wheels on the same model. But the harshness they had when they were first installed has definitely gone down the drain and the truck is going back to pretty much the same as the 10 year old shocks they had before. Pros
  • Best in their niche

  • Operating speed

Monroe Reflex keeps you on the road!

Original Motorcraft shocks are badly worn on my 2001 F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 with 179,000 miles. I can't speak to their off-road performance yet, but if you need to protect your truck from excessive body roll and keep the tires in place, I don't think you…

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • I really don't like anything, it's ok
