Seems like a thousand mile ride has solidified, now they really seem to have gone downhill. They don't make the jingling noise of compression and rebound like the rear wheels on the same model. But the harshness they had when they were first installed has definitely gone down the drain and the truck is going back to pretty much the same as the 10 year old shocks they had before. By now they only have about 8k miles on them.

I bought these shocks for my '99 4x4 Expedition. The front ones weren't that difficult as I also bought new lower ball joints and other front parts. So I replaced them while everything was apart.
