Great dampers, but weak air hose.

I used these shocks on my 85 C10 with a 4 inch rear triangle. The dampers work great, but the plastic tube fittings are rubbish. Be prepared to fight them to stop leaks and don't over tighten.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Protection

spring-spring Best in Shocks

These shocks offer virtually no rebound damping. Push and release the rear of the car, it just bounces like it has no shock absorbers at all and that's with no air in it. This has not happened with other shocks that are not air adjustable. Would, could, should have bought Gabriel High-Jackers.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Almost OK

Adjustable suspension without breaking the bank. I love her!

Love these mufflers, just install them on my newly restored 1974 Chevy C10 pickup. I installed them with low air for an empty bed and they ride great. When it comes time to tow a trailer or load a truck, I can upgrade them to take the extra weight.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great but. good for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

They came as a set of 2 which is required for installation. I had spare O-rings just in case. I had a small problem with one of the shock absorbers; The air nipple on the shock absorber itself was slightly deformed. Because of this, I had to pierce the end of the nipple with a drill to properly install the O-ring. There was nothing wrong with that, and it's easy to fix, but it deserves attention.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I wouldn't buy these shock absorbers

These are the worst shock absorbers I have ever bought. I installed them on my 1948 Plymouth, added 75psi of air, went for a test drive and one of the shocks blew up causing my car's suspension to fall and I had to buy another pair of stock ones. I will never buy air springs again. . I didn't want to give a star rating but had to select one to give my review.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Very poor quality pneumatic components

Very poor quality pneumatic components! Airlines will not remain intact. Get rid of punches with ease! I don't recommend installing these shocks with the included air line or the crappy useless nuts that come with the install kit! The shocks themselves look fine, but anything else air related is rubbish! Plan the conversion so that the air ducts remain in the shock absorbers!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
