Just not what you expected

Installs to be able to raise the rear end to accommodate an additional 200 lbs. Even blew them out to 130psi and they struggled to regain altitude. Ride/absorption equaled worn stock shocks. Maybe I chose the wrong one for my application.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • functionality

not all Dodge Vans for parts

I bought these a while ago for my rebuilt 1996 Dodge B2500 Van. I didn't bother to install them until last week. You are too short. They will fit, but they are above the recommended stretch mark on the shock. The seller sent on time. There are no problems with the seller. they are simply not suitable for all applications

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are defects

Have them installed by a pro and you'll see them snap your knuckles

There is a thickness specification and I'm not even sure what that means? but they were as simple as any air-raid setup. When you have no way of getting your car off the ground, air tools will take your car to the garage and put you out of your misery.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

Monroe air shocks are the best shocks

Pair of these shocks have been on my truck (a '55 GMC) for over 15 years and give it an extra inch of towing freedom. They work well, are easy to install, the Revain price is right, and shipping is prompt. Also, the color is black, not white as pictured. They were painted white some time ago, necessitating a repaint by the owner, but I think Monroe switched to black after enough complaints.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

WHY SAVE ON THE CHEAPEST PART OF THE PART?

Unbelievable. The WAAAAY air line is too short. This is the cheapest part of the entire kit and are you saving? Couldn't spend two cents to add a few feet to the line? I don't have a big rear end and of course I ran into a fitting on the rear shock absorber and went straight back and around the gas tank as close as physically possible and it's too short. Now I have to buy a whole set and spend two days to finish the evening's work. There is no excuse for that.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Nothing

I recommend using plumber's tape when installing. .

Although I ended up buying a second install kit from a different brand that had slightly heavier lines than the Monroe, they worked great while I had the van. I highly recommend using tape when installing caps to ensure a proper seal and prevent leaks. I didn't and ended up with a very slow leak in one of the lines. Before I could locate him, I was in an accident and the police took my only house and car. I can't afford another one if you're already fighting SSI. But these shocks were great and

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance

Didn't even last 3-4 months

I bought shock absorbers for my '89 Dodge B250 Class B Camper Van. We installed them when I was in North Florida visiting a family in Fort-Myers. They were great and the place has changed a lot. I'm in 3-4 months. path next to the page. I can still get air readings. From the driver's side. I can't get any error values. and I can't pump air. And of course if you don't pay extra they weren't shipped under guarantee so I'll have to pay somewhere else from $80 and a few hours of escalation or a few

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
