Seemingly good quality 1990 Chevrolet Conversion Van.

I installed this on my 1990 Chevrolet Trans-Aire van to replace a similar unit. (After sale installation. Not original equipment.) This is a better design than my original installation, with heavier mounting bolts. I didn't notice any difference in steering stability, but the old device worked fine. I just moved it to Suzuki Samurai. A new block has been added to the van. The lighter/thinner block was better for the samurai. Good product at a very reasonable price.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • No Instructions

Fits 98 Jeep ZJ

Used to replace the original factory steering stabilizer bar on my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. More or less like the original. I had a nice little guide showing how the washers are positioned and the torque values for both nuts on this bolt which was great. Seems to be working as well as all the other steering components I've replaced. The only complaint is that it had some bare metal on the tab at the end of the case, so I had to touch it up quickly with spray paint to prevent corrosion…

Fits 2000 XJ Cherokee 4x4

Fits my 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4x4. The nut that came with it (regular, not slotted) was the same size as the bolt and nut that connected the shock to my Jeep on the other end, which came in handy. Includes a replaceable castle nut and cotter pin which can be damaged when removed which was another plus. The only negative thing I noticed is that the instructions don't specify which nut to button. Also, the image on the outside of the box showed an impact protector, but it's not inside the box. These

Perfect fit for 2006 Jeep TJ Rubicon

The good part. Easy installation. If you have a Jeep TJ, this is for you. I've used many of these over the years / 200,000 miles. Works perfectly. I change about every 20,000 km. Tip: Leave the mounting stud (included in this kit) in the tie rod to save yourself from pushing it out. In addition, there is no need to fiddle around with the crown screw and the cotter pin on the underside of the fastening bolt. Simply unscrew the existing damper on the (upper) side of the handlebars facing the…

Great for my 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ, made in USA

The 27 year old factory steering damper on my Jeep YJ was no longer doing its job so I replaced it with this one. It is much harder than the old worn one! Driving is a lot more fun and I don't have to fight my way through every pothole on a bad road with the steering wheel. The hardest part was removing the old tapered bolt from the tie rod. But once that was removed installing this new steering damper was easy and I put the jeep back together in 15-20 minutes. I used the hardware that came…

  • Great for me
