Not all parts shown in the photo are included.

I bought this hub assembly because I was told MOOG was a good brand, but for the price you would expect it to come with mounting bolt, o-ring and c-clip , but this is NOT the case ALSO, although there is a very misleading image. If you are purchasing a part that you NEED, purchase c-clip mounting studs and an o-ring if you do not intend to reuse those parts.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Can't remember

The first impression is good. 1-3 missing mounting bolts.

Update: Third bearing with fasteners. Installation was easy and the ABS cable feels stiffer than the original or Timken which I removed. There are also no brake trouble codes on the test drive, which is also good. Both blocks turned smoothly, without noise. I installed them on a 2508 F250 6.4L. Hope this lasts a while. I have ordered two. One had mounting studs and a new O-ring. The other doesn't. I will return a missing part and reorder another stock. Hope i can install it.

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • About

The only problem I had of the two ordered, one had a broken "ABS sensor connector" on the connector itself, reused a very dubious old one. I don't know how to exchange a new defective one for a replacement. need a truck on the road. and not sure if Moog will fix the defect with a replacement without the hub assembly. Update: The ABS sensor was shipped faulty and was unable to get a free replacement from Moog. I left several messages and even sent photos of the failed connector end. but in vain.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are nuances

Much better quality than cheaper sets.

Bought the kit to replace a pair of cheaper ones that didn't even do 1000 miles that I bought through Amazon. Even though they share the same part numbers, you'll notice a difference in quality if you put them next to my previous pair. Hardware, locking rings and o-rings are simply better quality. The installation went smoothly and when it is fully assembled you will hear NO noise when the wheel spins. It just rolls so easily. I did the road test, expecting some noise and was very pleased there

Moog vs. Timkin, Moog sells #1

The Moog hub assembly has worked great so far. Ford compatible but I've tried them and it works fine, unlike the Timkin hub assembly I bought just before switching to Moog, smart move, the Timkin hub assembly failed from the start and is hundreds of dollars damage caused. I missed the 30 day return date because I never use the truck unless I need it, I had less than 100 miles on the truck and the hub got so hot the sensor wire melted, the bottom bracket froze and moved my truck to this side…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
