Rattlin on the back?

* These may be coil springs.* Fits Mazda 3 '08. I also changed the shock absorbers (to KYB) since I'm already working on the rear suspension.* the same size as the original. * You may need the rubber isolator above. * No, you do not need a spring compressor for installation. * The photo shows old and new.

Pros
  • Designed to reduce stress and increase durability
Cons
  • Functionality

Fits exactly. Requires Spring Compressor

Replaced springs on a 2008 Mazda 3. OEM parts are prone to breakage and will make a rattling noise. They are much thicker and longer than factory springs. Be sure to rent or borrow a spring compression tool to make installation easier. I don't think this is possible (or safe!) without tools. Much luck.

Fits 2005 Mazda 3i: Shocks, Struts and Suspension

I bought this because it had good reviews and stars. And said it fits my old 2005 Mazda 3i. Yes. it does. There are no defects or damage on the new springs. Note that once installed you will be VERY noticeable that the upper fender trim is almost 2 inches above the tire. For me it went from a low ride (due to bad spring breaks) to an almost towering rear end. My actual driver's seat felt like it was well above my dash when I sat in it. So strange. So keep that in mind if you are used to a "low"

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not the best

Fixed sag and rattle issues

Has given my Mazda3 the exact same ride height and rebound rate as the original Mazda OEM springs. I was actually surprised that the rear of my Mazda3 08 wasn't raised. Moog hatchback with a new Mazda OEM spring isolator on the left and a broken OEM spring on the right. The dismantling process is also shown. Very easy to replace and my car has low mileage (56k) and minimal bottom rust so I can't believe the spring is rusted and broken. Pretty confident the Moog replacement will outlive Mazda's…

Pros
  • Worn or sagging coil springs can cause premature tire wear due to vehicle drift
Cons
  • So far so good
