The original Pontiac Montana rear springs were very prone to breakage due to rust. I am almost 63 years old and I have never had such a problem. Should there be a new manufacturing process? Those MOOG springs (web photo shows a shock or strut, not springs) did improve the ride a bit, but not enough to be worth changing unless you already have a busted spring like mine. Real proof that I'm satisfied. What matters with these springs is whether they are rust-resistant, unlike the original springs.
