Installation 87 F150 Quad Front Shocks

The fitment is what you would expect from a pair of springs. They replaced the original '87 models and the difference in handling was huge. The front suspension convinces off-road and is easy to handle.

Excellent fit for Ford Bronco 96 5.8 4WD Front

Fits great and seems to drive much better than what we had before. We bought all 6 struts with two front spring shock absorbers. The handling is more balanced and calmer.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Weight

Good replacement for shocks, struts and suspension

I bought these to replace sagging worn out springs on my 95 F150 4x4. Easy to install and drives like new. I even got asked by a few people what kind of elevator I have, but I didn't install it! Highly recommended

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Not bad

Good quality for money.

Installed on a '93 F-150XL a week ago. They are installed the same way as OEM. I also added a sway bar which my truck didn't have. It really improved the ride and the anti-roll bar helped with cornering. Very satisfied. I wish I had done this earlier.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great price and great feathers!

Fantastic reels at a great price! I installed them on my 1990 Ford Bronco 4x4. These are progressive springs, not OEM progressive springs. I am very impressed with the improvement in ride quality and handling characteristics. The truck drives much better now, although I can't say it's just your new springs. At the same time I replaced the shock absorbers with a Bilstein kit.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Very expensive

Worn springs replaced

Sagging coils on my 88 f150 4.9L work truck replaced with Moog cc820 coils. A simple installation brought the truck back to factory level. My front wheels were bent over an inch at the tip prior to installation. I increased the lift by 1 1/8 inches and now my wheels are perfectly level, no alignment or bushings required. Still drives like a Cadillac, just a little stiffer, which feels great cornering. Great reels for the money!

Pros
  • Awaiting
Cons
  • Will be added later

Perfect choice for a 1994 F150

Springs were installed on a 1994 F150 RWD 4.9. Argued between them and cc822s. I went with the 820s because I wanted the truck to stay at stock height. Not difficult to install if you're a little mechanically inclined. I brought my front end back down to 1/4 inch; The old factory springs were offset 1.5 inches. The steering knuckle bushings and the steering knuckle bushings were also replaced. The difference is very noticeable. Don't forget to level it afterwards.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • A few little things
