Fits directly onto TJ Wrangler

Fits directly onto TJ Wrangler 1999, like factory (stock, no lift). Other reviews said it was bigger / it interfered with steering, I didn't find that to be the case. It was exactly the same size as the OEM. The bushing was solid and looked better than the factory fit. I only have 20 miles on it but if anything changes I will update my review. So far a great product for the money

Pros
  • Nice little thing
Cons
  • No power

moog has a great welly I have replaced it with this cheaper Delco which is only 8 months old was the reason why i keep getting questions from revain about the delco track bar so i'm telling you now buy a moog the boot on the delco went bad and broke in 8 months. It looks like a 20 year old that I took off

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great brand but no guarantee shoes will need to be replaced due to death!

Will replace my chain with this but I can buy it cheaper at an auto parts store with a lifetime warranty, it doesn't have a warranty. I have to pay extra for the guarantee, give me a break. In the end I decided to purchase a custom forged steel Detroit Axle and I am very glad I did and yes it is covered by warranty. But because of the way it's built I don't think I need a warranty on all forged steels.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Only available in black

NOT SUITABLE! Much too long! And there are not enough parts from the picture

The rack itself looks good but in the picture with castle nut and cotter pin,,, comes with the rod only, a bit disappointing, no grease nipple was included either, as shown in the picture if it helps its a 1/4"-28 thread that was for a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Update! This part is 1/2" longer! Doesn't fit in holes! Warning! This part may have been done wrong, but I won't risk it again! Now my jeeps have to wait for the right part

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Was damaged

99 TJ - Works well but slightly longer than stock.

Replaced the original tie rod on my 99 TJ yesterday. The Moog part was longer than the original so I had to center the steering wheel post setup (very easy but a little annoying when doing it alone). Just for your information. Hopefully nobody has had this experience, but the original panel was more difficult to remove than expected. My pickle fork and mini sled didn't do the job. I ended up using a hefty full-size slide and approaching from a different angle, and eventually it broke away…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

so far so good with parts

I had trouble with this pup in my '96 Jeep XJ to replace the faulty one that was there. Removing the old one was a lot harder than putting the new one in. I have a fold out mount for my 3.5" lift and it fits the mount well. The rubber bushings appear to be of good quality and it comes with a tie rod end fitting. With castellated nut and tie rod cotter pin. Studs but no bolt/nut for the axle end. I would definitely recommend going with a class 8 bolt/nut when installing as the old one stripped…

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • There are downsides

I go to Moog for suspension parts

My '04 TJ had front shake through the steering wheel at around 60-65 mph and all research pointed me to: front tie rod, inner tie rod or tires. Balance. I balanced the tires but the problem persisted so I ordered a moog front tie rod and an inner end of the moog tie rod that connects to the opener. I replaced the tie rod first (takes 20-30 minutes and is easy to do in a garage with the wheels on the floor). A test drive in a jeep showed that about 80-90% of the front end wobbled by the steering

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Easy repairability
