🏀 MOOG K500101 Ball Joint: Superior Quality and Durability for Enhanced Performance Review

Sturdy construction, very odd that I bought the same part from Advance Auto and it was made in Japan while the one I ordered from Revain was built in China. Looks the same, great design and stronger than the factory as far as I can tell.

Normally installed but badly rusted after five months. Not something I want to trust my life to. I wrote to Moog customer service about this. Will update this review as soon as I get an answer. Shown is a Moog tie rod end and ball joint installed in November 2015. Update: Spoke to Moog Tech on the phone - he says rust isn't a cause for concern. I don't know what I think of this answer, but maybe he's right.

If the item doesn't come in the Moog box, send it back and order again. There is a guide on Moog's website showing which parts of it are real and which aren't. It took several attempts (with a large order of various Moog parts) to get all the original parts. But it's worth it, the prices on Amazon are good and the cup is of high quality. I have no problem installing them or enjoying the quality of genuine Moog parts. Just make sure you buy real ones, some sellers here are trying to sell fake…
