Fits perfectly, no problems installing.

Please note that changing the socket is very time-consuming. I bought this specific removal tool from Honda so I didn't have to remove the entire trailing arm, but it was easier to just remove the arm and press out the bushing with a hydraulic press. This requires a complete disassembly of the drum brakes and a lot of other things I didn't want to do, but it made installing the hub more viable. As for the product, it fits perfectly and is of good quality.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good fit and functionality

Fit these in my 1997 Civic which had its trailing arm bushings shattered during a suspension overhaul. The "moaning" from behind eventually went away and it got a little harder. I had to remove the entire trailing arm to press/insert them which was a do it yourself project but special tools are available for the price to press the bushings out on the car. As always, be careful of the orientation of the old one, as once installed it should sync properly.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Disappear

Moog products work well in my 2000 Civic Si

Rebuilt rear end of a 2000 Civic Si and one of the parts replaced was a trailing arm bushing. Overall, this is one of the most important parts and is relatively easy to replace with the right tools (Honda Acura Trailing Arm Bushing Puller Installer). I ordered two bushings and returned/replaced one as it was made in India and the other in Taiwan. There was a noticeable difference in the quality of the rubber surface on both, with the Indian-made hub having a rough rubber-to-metal finish. Given…

Trailing Arm Installation Tips

Looks like a good item. Helps improve vehicle handling. I discovered something: a press is not needed to remove the old bushings. Before removing, mark the 6 o'clock position on the old bushings. Use a hacksaw or jigsaw to cut the key out of the bushing. Do not cut the trailing arm and make sure the ABS and parking brake are not in the line of fire. I learned that the hard way on the ABS line. In any case, after cutting the wedge, they will fall out with a few hits of the brass hammer. To…

Good quality but I'll probably pay more for a better one next time

Honestly I'm not thrilled with the softness of the rubber as it feels like 40k-60k miles so even these can start to tear , but that's just a prediction. I installed them on my '97 Acura Integra sedan. When pressing the bushings with a portside freight press, I managed to slightly deform the rubber around the edges. It doesn't look like it messed them up much, but for my race car I'd probably go for something stiffer like a Hardrace or something. Ride quality seems a little better, but I do…

Honda RD1 CRV silent blocks trailing arm, Attention!

goods at an affordable price. It is extremely difficult to remove old originals, even after soaking in WD40 overnight. I have found these replacements to be easier to refit, fairly solid but easier to polish on the outside of the metal sleeve with a wire brush to remove the factory paint, lightly sand the receiving hole and lubricate with grease. Seems to be working fine and problem solved. I would be interested to know how long they last. I am happy to recommend this product. Part of the…
