Great value, works well

Fantastic value for the DIY enthusiast. Comes without instructions and the cover needs cleaning for the chain but works very well. I've used it in a Predator 420 on a mini bike and had a blast.

Possibly used but the build quality is ok

It looks pretty bad on the inside like it is used and rusty. It won't mount directly to my particular engine as it's from a 1969 snowblower, but with a few modifications it should be fine. All screws and fasteners are included, it's almost a TAV2.

Beware of this product.

I have to return this system because it won't turn on at the correct RPM. I think the springs in the clutch pulley were for the larger engine and not the 5hp Briggs I installed it on. I was struggling to get the product to work properly as the mini bike was my wife's Christmas present and unfortunately the bike is still not rideable due to this system. The clutch disc stop screw and outer washer were also the wrong size. I am very disappointed in the product.

Worked with Briggs and Stratton 1150

Product arrived undamaged and with instructions. Direct fit and overall after minor modifications to the engine (cutting off the top of the oil plug) it took about 15 minutes. I first tried installing this torque converter on a Honda GX270 but there wasn't enough room between the cooling fins and the oil plug even after I cut the top of the oil plug off. However, I was able to install it on a Briggs and Stratton 1150. I had to cut off the top of the oil plug, but I was able to install it on the

Great product with a small modification

I bought this to install a Predator 301CC 8HP engine. for karting. I liked the product. Shipped quickly, arrived in good condition. There were a few problems with the installation. When installing the base plate the oil fill hole got in the way so I had to replace the dipstick with a plug and lap it until the holes lined up to secure it with the bolts. Not so hot what's up. Also, the screw that came with the kit to attach the drive pulley to the motor shaft was too small. Not a big deal either,

No startup project.

This is a 1 inch shank so will fit a Predator 301. No. 1/4" away from the crankcase filler. Then the bolt holding the clutch roller is too small, you need a 7/16 fine thread (had to drill deeper and rethread). The bushing that the bolt goes through, around the clutch to hold doesn't work with a larger 7/16 so it needs to be bored out (-" washer). The clutch pulley bearing plate wouldn't slide down the crankshaft far enough to line up with the driven pulley so I had to sanding the inside where…
