Best blade for the price, and all around best purchase for makers starting out!

I purchased this back in late Dec or early January, I had planned on making a handle and finishing it back when I got it. But I wasn't able to get to it, till the beginning of May 2020. During the time I had before starting, I went through multiple styles of handles on paper. I don't really care for the traditional Mora shapes or materials for their handles. But, I finally decided on a shape and got all the materials together. I purchased some bronze for a bolster and started. As you can see…

Bent blade or tang? Dull? This thing was beautiful right out of the box! It was razor sharp, meaning it shaved hair off my arm. Nice and heavy. Perfectly straight. And of course it stains. It's carbon steel, not stainless. You can't treat it like it is. Really, for the price? It's a deal. Can't wait to haft it and use it on my next trip to the woods.Update. Finished with a hickory handle. This blade makes a beautiful knife.

I hate it. on my review.

I hate it. piece of JUNK. after I completed the scales and started to actually use the Knife, my wife noticed after the first time using it. it rusted, REALLY!don't waste your $$$$$

Sturdy and functional

Made a knife with this for my father as one of my first handle and sheath making projects. Blade arrived sharp as heck, and I think it makes for a very handsome tool. Sturdy and functional!

This blade arrived beautifully polished and surgically sharp. It is so well polished that it can serve as an emergency signaling advice. BEst deal on a blank anywhere on the INternet

came with specks of rust on blade but was no deal breaker.good tough blade. this is a big knife but not cumbersome would be a good weekend project away from a beautiful knife

What an amazing blade!

The quality of the blade is top notch. It came very fast in perfect condition. Razor sharp edge with a beautiful high polish finish. I made at deer antler knife with it and I could not be more satisfied with the way it looks.

. LITLLE THICKER BUT IT IS NONE THE LESS A GREAT KNIFE

I HAVE PUT THIS BLADE THRU HELL AND IT'S STILL SHARP AS A RAZOR I ONLY WISHED THAT IT WAS A LITLLE THICKER BUT IT IS NONE THE LESS A GREAT KNIFE BLANK

bent tang, no exchange

Customer Service DOES NOT EXCHANGE this product. The knife blade itself looked pretty good. Clean and strait. But the tang had enough of a bend on it that I was concerned about getting a quality fit for the type of handle I am adding. I wanted to exchange it, but they only take refunds. Then you have to REORDER the knife. I would assume it's the same with any knives from this manufacturer.

Can't go wrong for my opinion

Threw this baby in a hard maple handle and gifted it. Sharp as hell and AFAIK it has only developed very small easily removable spots of rust after a while essentially uncared-for in that regard because it's not really necessary with the way they laminate the steel. The blade Shavers actually slightly different than the 6 in allround carbon.
