Unreliable Best in Lighters and Matches

After using this item for a long time, the flint mechanism became unstable. it often doesn't light up unless I open it with both hands. and lights up maybe after 3 attempts. the flame is too small to reliably ignite the tube. and despite the seals and small wick, the liquid evaporates in less than a week with moderate use.

Replace the flint with Ronson's red flint to improve his performance.

This device works much better if you replace the flint with a red Ronson flint for Zippo lighters. The red flints make the friction plate run much smoother and don't create burning flint splinters that fly out of the device. Good news.

Terrible in every way.

Not suitable for lighters. False advertising. The design is terrible in that when used as a pipe lighter, the cap heats up to the temperature of the surrounding fire. In addition, the cap is difficult to move. This is important because it allows the flame to ignite. This item must be on wish.com. Not Revan. Shame on whoever did it and shame on Revane for selling it.
