Description of πŸ” High-Quality Moroso 93020 Gasket for Small Block Chevy Valve Cover

Specially designed gaskets are manufactured from 40 durometer rubber, molded over and vulcanized to a rigid steel frame. The extra-strength design will not leak, blow out or get sucked in like stock or inferior-quality aftermarket gaskets. Superior quality silicone/steel gaskets outlast cork and rubber composite designs to provide years of dependable service, especially when constantly removing and reinstalling valve covers. Full 3/16"-thick. Two per package.

I will only use gaskets

These polypropylene blue steel core gaskets are the only gaskets I will be using. excellent seal and it can be reused. worth the extra money.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • No performance

One size fits some?

The workmanship on these seals is fantastic. The only reason I only gave four stars is because they don't fit end seal caps (similar to Edelbrock's aluminum caps). So they are not universal for all valve covers.

So far, so good. in cam cover and stem

I used this gasket with a rigid metal frame and bolts to hold the gasket in place when installing the cam cover. It is much easier to align the gasket correctly when installing the valve cover. The cleat set I used, also from Moroso, has nylon locknuts to keep them from loosening. It should also be easier to remove and reuse without having to scrape off a broken cork or the sealant that is used to hold the old cork seal in place. So far, so good.

Pros
  • cam cover and stem
Cons
  • All OK
