Super bright! I ordered it to look for uranium glass on the beach after sunset. It is many times brighter than my previous one. This will help the hunt a lot.

We live in Phoenix, where Scorpios are plentiful. We bought another pair of black lights last season and the on/off buttons wore out and the batteries died quickly. This flashlight feels much more durable and being rechargeable is great!

Now the garbage is in the landfill. Lights up purple but doesn't work at all. I bought this to track my adopted dog's urine, not to sniff my floors like crazy. I aimed it directly at the wet urine stain and nothing. What a waste of money.

Effortlessly picks up hidden stains and urine on the floor. Got me excited when I saw the Chungus 3k Li-ion battery. Solid construction, reliable clicker, bright enough. I had no problems with the battery as I saw in other reviews. However, for my needs, this flashlight was useless. Even fluorite did not fluoresce in this light, so even identifying a mineral that should have glowed is useless. Didn't even work in total darkness. Also didn't inflame a few cat stains I knew were there, let alone find unknown ones. Returned if for a refund.

Just received this black light. I really needed a good bright light to look for dog urine. We have adopted dogs and most of them are not house trained. I gave this light 5 stars for its brightness, ease of use and excellent spot finding performance. I had other lights but had to hold them close to the ground to see the spots. I like the fact that it has no batteries and is easy to charge. I plan to buy more for my rescue group friends.

I don't usually write completely negative reviews, but this flashlight is absolutely useless. The first one I received was charged but wouldn't turn on. The second wouldn't even charge as the connector was wobbly and crooked and wouldn't even allow a charging plug to be inserted. Didn't turn on either. I wouldn't give this company a shot until they up their game. Absolutely crappy lamp. Was looking for a good black light to fight crappy clams in seafood.

I thought the light wouldn't work after charging but then I remembered to check that there was a protective film between the battery and the flashlight. I removed it and it works great. This is very useful for cleaning; However, I soon found that many substances "glow" which is not a problem: sealant, soap, essential oil, etc. We've used it recently to easily find nail holes in the walls we've patched. As such, light can be very useful for determining reflectance variations on surfaces.
