This is for metal, NOT for wood

The description says 'woodworking' but the packaging says 'metal cutting' and the picture shows a blade for wood. I should have doubted that at 24 TPI (teeth per inch) but figured it might be the wrong part in the description.

Looks like a good METAL blade

025 24TPI Wood Band Saw is a METAL band saw. it is even written in the upper right corner of the package. Although it looks like it could be a good METAL blade. I really needed a WOOD work knife.

I ORDERED THIS DISC BECAUSE THEY WERE KNOWN AS A "WOOD CUT DISC". THEY ARE NOT FOR CUTTING WOOD. WOODEN DISCS HAVE 3 TO 10 TEETH PER INCH. THESE KNIVES HAVE 24 TEETH PER INCH AND ARE SPECIFIED ON THE PACKAGING FOR PLASTIC, ALLOY. RETURNED THE DAY AFTER RECEIPT. DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WOOD CUTTER!

American made band saws.

These are good quality blades, made in America. Sometimes I bought them locally when they were at a hardware store near me and didn't feel like driving an hour to a big store to buy other brands. They're about $4 cheaper here than most stores sell them, so I'll be buying them from Revain from now on. I get as many cuts from one of these in mild steel as I get from most other brands of blades under sixteen dollars a piece. It's also guaranteed not to fail the weld, but I have to say I've never…
