I got exactly what I paid for. But I had to use the bowl with my other carb. The drainage originally had a transverse thread. I've tried pulling the drain out but it won't even come out. Easy to install, easy to install. Not satisfied with the cross-threaded drain plug

after installing the carburetor and trying to adjust the mixture screws to no avail I got it up to idle but something else it pitches and gallops back through the carburetor I have been poking around in her for about half an hour. The only way to run at high rpm is to pull the choke out slightly, so my conclusion is that it's bad.

I had a lot of problems with this carburettor and ended up converting the old one. Not sure what's wrong with it, haven't ripped it up yet, but it was putting the regulator into a faster idle overtime and couldn't set it up properly. Put the old one back in and everything worked. So it sits on my desktop for now until I feel like playing around with it. Just keep walking and find something else to buy.

Very easy installation with just two nuts, a clamp and two joints. Went like clockwork. My 49 8n had an old Zenith carburetor. I've redid it twice and still had problems. I replaced it with this carburetor and after the factory settings it started right away. Made a small idle adjustment and it works fine. Definitely recommend this carb to anyone who needs it.

Me you are one of the lucky ones you have a good carburetor. after months of buying other parts that I didn't need after purchasing this carburetor. In order to make the tractor work properly, you need to find that the map is not good. Differences. I found an old cast iron carburetor and restored it and now the tractor works great.

I read a few reviews saying it doesn't work and can't be adjusted but bought it anyway given the price. You were right. With factory settings 8n starts and works fine, no problems. Anything over 1/3 throttle and you'll get a lean hit. There are only two ways to fix this. 1. Pull the throttle to enrich it. 2.
