Super configurable + compact

I love the Fibaro Motion Sensor. I installed it to activate some of the light strips I installed on the steps in my bedroom. As a safety measure, the steps are to be illuminated at night to prevent tripping over the steps. It paired easily with my Smartthings controller. Almost all settings were supported through the app on my phone. The only thing I had to adjust in the API was the interval at which movement was checked. I need near-instant motion detection so the steps light up as I approach,

Pretty bow tie for a white eye

Update (9-5-20): I've had a 1st gen Smart Things Hub for about 2.5 years and it works great with Fibaro and Alexa routines. Just last week I found out my smartthings hub died so I bought a 3rd gen smartthings hub. With the new hub, Fibaro no longer works with Alexa routines; Samsung and Revain support could not get my procedures working again with my Fibaro. I had to buy Smartthings compatible Wi-Fi devices and install new "automators" in Smartthings to get my automations working again with…

My experience with the Fibaro FGMS-001 was exceptional and during my tests, which included 5 other motion sensors/multisensors, Fibaro stood at the top as the clear winner. In terms of setup and the overall simplicity of connecting Fibaro to my Z-Wave network, the instructions in the manual proved extremely accurate and helpful.
