Perfect Fit - Replacement Parts

I used this to bleed the brakes on my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Duramax. As with all other vehicle types, you should check the maximum possible pressure. My 3/4 ton piston was 15 psi. This 2003 GMC only has 10 psi pressure.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • weak

Best Brake Bleeder Adapter

I'm so glad I found this Motive brake bleeder cap and hose. I have the BMW bottle and cap I used to have and these adapters now help me save time and money, plus I bleed my brakes much faster and don't have to find anyone to step on the brake pedal.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Everything is OK

Too bad I chose Black Label

. At 10 PSI it keeps blowing. I think the plastic tab was enough to make it possible. I don't have this problem with the Black Label (metal) covers that I have for my Fords. I wish I'd spent another $10 on a Black Label cap on a Chevy Suburban. I could still use it, just at lower pressure.

Pros
  • , cool product
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Worked well on my 2008 Chevy Cobalt

Used a thin rubber insert with an adapter and it worked perfectly! Two comments, one of them: quick-release fasteners make the job of motivating pumps a lot easier. 2. Note: Make sure the rubber hose is not kinked while working under the car, otherwise it will break and leave a mess on your car and work area.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works great on 2000

Works great on my 2000 Silverado. Only 1 small problem and 1 medium problem. First you need to use a thicker gasket, but it will be difficult to twist. I simply dipped my finger in the liquid and wet the gasket, screwing it in well. Second, the extra exhaust pipe is stupidly short, only a few inches long. This tubing is cheap, so buy a piece before you start bleeding.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Big Disappointment

I bought this adapter for my Saturn as the one I bought for my job at Subaru works great but I am very disappointed that no matter what piece of rubber you use the cap it refuses to seal the master cylinder and anything over 10psi squirts brake fluid all over the engine bay and my windshield. I can't believe I wasted my money on this.

Pros
  • Master Cylinder and Parts
Cons
  • So So

Works, but with some significant downsides.

Works to bleed the brakes. Works much better than the two person pedal method. The problem is in the pressure. If you apply more than 10 pounds of pressure, the master cylinder will rupture. That's bad, because for some cars like GM, the factory manual calls for 35psi to bleed off the pressure. Cannot even exceed 10 PSI. I want to be able to get at least 20psi. If I were to buy this product again I would get a metal cap.

Pros
  • Brake system
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

1108 GM Adapter Perfect Fit: 2003 Mazda6 i Sedan

Although the official application on Motive is "GM Round 3 Tab" reservoirs, it worked fine on my 2003 Mazda6 i Sedan. (Thanks to various Mazda forum posts I was able to reference!) The adapter comes with two gaskets - one thin and one thick. I used a thick one and the adapter was still easy to screw on. I pressurized 10psi into the outlet ball with no evidence of a leak in the master cylinder reservoir.

Pros
  • Master Cylinder
Cons
  • Vulgarity
