Description of πŸ”§ Motivx Tools Large Adjustable Oil Filter Wrench - Easily Remove 3.15'' - 4.15'' Diameter Spin-On Oil Filters - Excludes Oil Filter Installation

Universal Fit – This oil filter wrench removes 3.15” - 4.15” diameter traditional spin-off canister style oil filters. For smaller sizes use the Motivx Tools MX2330. The tool is for oil filter removal only, NOT for installation. Not for use on chrome plated oil filters or cartridge style filters where you have to remove a plastic or metal cap to expose the filter element. Better Design – This wrench features a .050” captured spring as opposed to the flimsy .020” spring found on other wrenches. The oil filter contact surface has a tooth style design for a better grip and less slip. Quality Materials – The jaws are built tough using nickel plated 4130 chromoly steel and attached to the 3/8” thick solid steel top plate. Professional Quality - Motivx Tools is a family owned and operated specialty tool company located in the United States and we take great pride in our products. These oil filter wrenches are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and excellent customer service. Purchase With Confidence - Buy our Motivx Tools universal oil filter wrench knowing it's a perfect fit, excellent quality, built to last, and most importantly we stand behind our products.

Works great, couldn't do without it!

We have a used Ranger and the oil filter is high up in the engine bay next to the frame rail. Whoever serviced the truck had the existing filter tight enough that nothing moved and there was no place to pierce it with a screwdriver to get a lever to loosen it. This is where this tool comes to the rescue. 16" 3/8" extension for hammer rod and filter wrench tool. I struggled to get the filter to spin and in fact the jaws cut in so well they pushed the filter in 1/2 inch on either side whereupon…

Worked great! - Oil System Tools

I bought a used skid steer loader and after changing fluids and filters found I couldn't remove the large hydraulic filter. They look like regular car oil filters but are twice as long or slightly larger. There is virtually no access to a regular belt type filter remover on my SS, but after putting one on I tried my best and it wouldn't budge. I was afraid of bending and twisting the filter so I bought it hoping it would work. Well it did and only took a minute to use. It worked great! The only

When all else fails

I have a stuck oil filter on my Porsche 944 S2. There is very little room for this filter in this car and it was actually welded on. Filter pliers, strap wrenches and a screwdriver trick didn't help. In desperation I ordered both sizes from Revain. Mine turned out to be the smaller size, but I'm keeping them both. Unfold the two handles, place it on the filter and turn it with a 3/8" ratchet. It will slip a little at first, then the teeth will dig into the filter and settle on its own. After it

Worked when others didn't

I recently came across an oil filter that just couldn't be removed. The filter was old and the car saw some sort of external storage. I've tried removing the filter multiple times, even with other specialized oil filter tools, and all have failed. A tool, from a major hardware store's own brand, even RIBBED (yes the metal shatters!) before I had it all the way around the filter! I researched several specialty tools before purchasing this one. I have to say that the finish used for the…
