This drop link does exactly what it says on the tin - lowers the bike. However, on the first ride, I immediately noticed that my suspension was practically non-functional. It was so rough. Requires full ability to absorb suspension shock from bumps. I pumped up wherever there was a small bump in the road and sudden bumps nearly knocked you off the bike. Overall it does what it says on the tin, but I wouldn't recommend it. Spend a little more money and swap out your shock absorbers.

Who cares, understand! The weight distribution is great!

I read hundreds of reviews and decided to try this set. I installed it on a 2 inch hole. I'm 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, but my body is oddly shaped, long torso, short legs. In any case. My feet are firmly flat. The ride MAY be a little rougher than the original, but not noticeable enough to be playable. changer. ALTHOUGH displacement is weight distribution! Now I can throw this bike better than ever! I love it! As for durability, I'm not sure, I installed it today. A few washers are missing, no…

Where did the bolts come from?

I've seen these sets before and seen them dressed. When I tried it all went to hell! Everything arranged as it should have been, had all the tools, a jack, a quick lift and a lock tite. Went through the steps and the lower shock bolt on the right started poorly, the threads didn't snap when I removed the old bolt but the new bolt didn't go in for nothing. Of course I was even able to test a threaded bolt with thread gauges and the supplied bolts have the wrong thread pitch. Now I need to drill…

Fits and works as advertised

I put them on a 2011 Roadking Standard. Easy installation. I went 2 inches, could have possibly gone 3 inches but the tip of the hit hit the chrome fender cap as it changed the angle of the hit. Also, 2 inches was enough to get the jack out from under my bike. With the right equipment, installation took about 20-30 minutes. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed in terms of performance. I feel a lot better on the bike and it's a lot easier to maneuver and sit on a straight foot. I'm exactly…

Drop is limited to 1 inch.

I checked before purchasing this kit and another customer said they had no problem using it to lower the 07 Streetglide. Here is my experience. The upper shock washer must be included first as the lowering kit will move the lower shock mount approximately 1/8 inch. I doubled up my two stock washers at the top between the shock and the frame to create my own spacer to accommodate the offset. Second, I wanted to lower my bike 2 inches but couldn't without changing the brace to loosen it. I don't…
